Rosa 'Peach Drift'

The surprise for me this year has been the Peach Drift rose hedge. Way more beautiful than when I planted it...glowing peach, pink, apricot, cream, white and red.

Beautiful pics! Can you tell me what the purple plant in is in the very first picture of this post? How far apart did you plant your peach drift roses? I just bought 4 of them and I'm wanting to create a hedge and I'm not sure how wide they will actually get. My email is belindaag@yahoo.com. Thanks!

Hi Belinda, the plant in the foreground is a Lavender "Violet Intrigue". I planted the roses about 2 feet apart...planning for a hedge effect.

Hi Julia. You've convinced me on the peach drift roses. I plan to plant several large sections of them around a swimming pool. I had wanted something with fragrance, but can't seem to find a hardy, carefree rose that has any! And I like the blooms on these better than the Knockouts. Any ideas for fragrant plants I can tuck in near the pool? Love your blog and will follow you on Folia. I'm in Virginia--zone 6/7 (I'm in a little hole that's more of a 6). Just getting back into gardening after building a small farm. Dealing with deer, but I think the roses will be safe by their location.Using a lot of grasses. Love my pink muehli grass.
