I love Verbena Bonariensis...
Tall and fluffy, airy violet blooms.
The floating blooms surround you at eye level as you walk through the garden, yet they seem to take up no space.
Attracting bees, hummingbirds and swaying in the breeze.

The broad beans are climbing the stick tripods we made...I hope there will be enough summer to ripen the beans.
My mini meadow!
Lot's of tall wirey plants around the bird feeder make the birds happy, lots of safe places to perch.
The dry garden is doing great! Agastache, coneflower and sedums are all blooming now.
The plants are getting tall enough that you feel different when you walk through the space now...like you're going "through" something. I love it!
Cucumbers and Delphinium in the hothouse.
And one more thing that makes me happy...veg frittata.

Stipa Gigantea
Stipa Gigantea is the most supreme ornamental grass. It has soft smooth blades with a low blowsy habit in medium light green, and in mid summer it sends up these stalks with giant seed heads that burst forth and rattle as they sway in the breeze. If you plant it where the sun shines through it at dawn or dusk, you will also be blessed with the most gorgeous glowing amber display...and it dances above the plants it sits with, showering the area with gold.
